Welcome to San Diego! {A family session at La Jolla Shores.}

I love La Jolla Shores. It is one of my favorite places for photo shoots. Tonight it was especially lovely. The light was soft and the kiddos in front of my camera were exceptionally adorable. My favorite combination! Welcome to San Diego, Templet family! I hope that you love it here.

Waiting for baby Laney. {Maternity mini session at Coronado Island}

I met up with Taylor and her hubby Alex to take her maternity photos the same week that she hit 36 weeks of pregnancy. Let me share with you some of my thoughts from this photo session.
1. I loved watching Alex take care of his wife - nothing better than an attentive hubby.
2. Taylor is absolutely gorgeous. She makes the 9th month of pregnancy look fabulous.
3. I think that baby Laney is a very lucky and very loved little girl.

The Skinner Family {A Halloween mini-session at Villa Norte Park}

Sometimes I find myself unfairly jealous of the majority of the country for getting to enjoy fall. Cool weather, crunchy leaves under your feet and cozy hoodies are some of my favorite things. Unfortunately, San Diego never got the fall memo and we are still in our 'endless summer' with temps well into the 80s and 90s. Sometimes I like to turn my air conditioning down really low, burn a pumpkin scented candle, stick on a hoodie and pretend that it's fall. I'm not actually fooling myself, but it's still a fun experiment. This weekend though I was able to get just a tiny taste of fall when I met up with the Skinner family to take some Halloween inspired photos.
A beautiful mama, loving big brother, energetic little sister and adorable baby brother combined to make this Halloween inspired mini session so much fun! And we can't forget Princess, their oh-so-cute chihuahua who showed up dressed and ready for her close-up.
Thanks for sharing part of your Saturday with me, Skinner family! And thank you for letting me pretend just for a little bit, that fall had arrived to San Diego.
