A special announcement. {The Lopez family}

I look forward to my photo shoots on the beach more than anywhere else. The ocean, the sand, the pier, the sunset. It's truly an unbeatable location. The lighting the hour before sunset is pure magic and tonight was no exception. I had the pleasure of photographing the Lopez family and helping them announce some very exciting news! This wonderful family was so much fun to work with and these cute kiddos sure kept me on my toes! Such a fun night. 

Exploring Balboa Park - San Diego.

This week Jamie and I went to Balboa Park. Balboa Park is one of the most popular tourist spots in San Diego, and for good reason; it is covered in lush vegetation, unique pieces of artwork and stunning architecture. We had a relaxing time strolling the grounds and exploring as many nooks and crannies as we could before we lost our light.

If you haven't been to Balboa Park it is absolutely worth the trip.

One of the very best parts of living in San Diego is the sunsets. We have a gorgeous view from our backyard, but I love the times when we head down to the beach to check them out. Last week we happened to be in La Jolla for a photo shoot with a family and decided to stay for the sunset after they left. I'm so glad we did because it was absolutely breath taking.
